Fried Rice with Hotdog

(Nasi Goreng Sosis)

Fried Rice with Hotdog

In Indonesia, we call hotdog as sosis. And we use it for some meals. One of them is for fried rice. I like hotdog, also my hubby. So sometimes, I make him fried rice only with hotdog.

Category : Rice

Difficulty : Easy

Cooking time : 15 - 20 minutes

Ingredients

2 cups cold cooked rice

1 chicken fillet, cut into small pieces

2 tablespoons oil

1 medium onion, peeled and sliced

2 cloves garlics, peeled and sliced

50 gr of canned Pea

1 tablespoon Sweet Soy sauce (kecap manis)

2 tablespoon tomato ketcup

1 blok of chicken seasoning (or salt if you prefer)

pepper to taste

2 chicken hotdog

2 eggs

Directions

1.Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a wok and fry the onion and garlics.

2.Then add add the rice, chicken seasoning, pepper, sweet sauce and ketcup. Stirring constantly until well mixed and heated through.

3.Last, add the pea. And stir so it would mixed with the rice, but don't stir too hard cause canned pea is soft and easily crushed.

4.When the rice is cooked, set aside

5.Seperately, cut the hot dog into 2, make the cross cut to each of it, so when you fry it, it would look like a flower.

6.Serve the fried rice, garnished with the fried hot dog, fried egg, and cucumber. Accompany, if liked with shrimp crakers (krupuk udang) or onion crackers.
